The Spooky House: Editor's Director's Cut

Finally, after wowing the festival circuit for a few years (by "wowing," I mean it was rejected by many festivals and accepted into a few), The Spooky House is finally available for public consumption on both YouTube and the new IMDb Theater.  But, this is not just any The Spooky House, this is:

That's right! Finally, the movie as it was meant to be seen. And would have been had the editor (aka Tyler) ever looked at the script or storyboards.  Granted, I am somewhat to blame, as well.  But, it is more fun to blame Tyler (but not as fun as blaming Gregg Blake).

Anyways, this new final version of the film is presented in widescreen 16x9 format, has an improved sound mix, some minor edits, and a couple of never-before-seen shots that really help to sell the punchline (and which were the items in question in my storyboards that were somehow overlooked).  Basically, it is what it was meant to be.

So, to all you fests that rejected us I say this: bite it.  I gots my own festival now! It's called the Internet! And it my audience is global!  I'm not restricted to a makeshift theater in the basement of a crack house with twenty people in attendance, 18 of whom are the filmmakers themselves! Bite it!

And to all the festivals that accepted and played our film: I love you. And I love festivals. You guys rock! And you could never charge too much!
